In the early days of Nicole’s work as a Virtual Assistant—prior to the rebrand to Bauhinia Solutions—she frequently took on ad-hoc creative projects, collaborating with trusted freelancers to deliver professional branding materials. One such client was a teacher who had enrolled in an online marketing programme with the aim of building a side business. Her goal was to create a sustainable online income that would eventually allow her to work from home full-time. She approached us to help bring her business idea to life with a professional logo that reflected her vision.
Our Solution:
1. Concept Interpretation and Design Brief: After reviewing the client’s business concept, our graphic designer Melanie developed a visual identity centred around a circular logo. The circular shape was symbolic of a football (or soccer ball), aligning with the business’s theme.
2. Multi-Meaning Visual Design: The central squiggly lines within the logo were intentionally designed to be open to interpretation.
They could be seen as:
- Shoelaces, adding a sporty element;
- Three ‘F’s, representing “Football Friends Forever”;
- Or three infinity symbols, reinforcing the concept of “forever.”
This layered symbolism gave the logo a sense of personality and depth, while also resonating with the client’s aspirations and target audience.
The Outcome:
The client received a meaningful, professionally designed logo that encapsulated the heart of her new business. It helped her take her first step into online entrepreneurship with confidence, supported by branding that was both thoughtful and visually engaging. This project exemplified how even a simple idea can be transformed into a compelling identity with the right creative support.
